ICC is very familiar with this particular bridge and has worked on just about every part and component of it over the years. ICC assisted AMTRAK on this occasion with the rehabilitation of the following systems:

- Operating rope assemblies, two up-haul and two down-haul, at each corner for a total of sixteen, including; operating ropes, sockets, clevis pins, drop-forged rope clips, and all associated hardware.

- Operating rope deflector sheave assemblies, one of each type at each corner of the lift span.  We rehabilitated a total of four intermediate deflector sheave assemblies with new non-metallic bushings, new sheave shafts, and all associated hardware.  Provided a total of four new main deflector sheave assemblies and four new lower deflector sheave assemblies, which include sheaves, shafts, non-metallic bushings, support bearings, collars, and all associated hardware.

- Span guide roller assemblies, six transverse and two longitudinal, eight total.  Rehabilitated the assemblies with new rollers, bushings, thrust washers, pins, mounting hardware, and shims.
