A Bridge for
Our Community

Mooseheart Child City & School provides a safe place to live and learn for disadvantaged children and teens from infancy to high school, established by the Moose Fraternity in 1913. With its focus on kids and location just 10 miles from ICC, Mooseheart is a natural fit for our support.

A 100-year-old school dedicated to giving kids what they need to lead happy lives. A 90-year-old employee-owned construction firm looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the community. In the Mooseheart Child City & School, we saw that opportunity, and we have created an active partnership with the organization centered on mentorship and real-world learning.

This is just the beginning.

In this year’s competition, think the students learned more than in the past. ICC participation gave the kids more of an idea of how full-scale bridges are built. It wasn’t just ‘I built it and it broke’—they saw real-world context.
