Emergency Repairs
to the Jefferson Street Bascule Bridge in Joliet, IL
In Summer 2004, several barges collided with the west
leaf of the Bascule Bridge and forced IDOT to close
the roadway to traffic. IDOT awarded the repair contract
to ICC in September 2004. We fabricated and replaced
steel and other repair parts to re-open the bridge in
October.
